There are lots of options out there, but one of my favorite photos to explore is the one from the Columbia Museum of Photography in downtown Washington, D.C. You can check out the full gallery above.
The photo above is one of the best shots I’ve ever seen from the museum, and I’m not even exaggerating.
The entire museum is covered in a thick layer of paint, and even though it’s a small piece, it really gives you an amazing view of the city and its people.
The original photo of the museum’s ceiling and staircases can be found in the Smithsonian Institution’s collection, and if you’re looking for something to make the most of your trip to the museum it might be worth the trip.
I’m a big fan of the Columbia collection, so it’s definitely worth checking out if you’ve got time.
