This year’s Ligue One will be played in the heart of Milan, but it won’t be as big as last season.
The Italian football league will be held at the San Siro Stadium in 2018, as the city will host the tournament, the LFP said.
The Serie A competition will also be played there.
The 2018 edition will be the first since 2015, when the final in Paris saw a record crowd of 3.8 million spectators, according to an Italian news website.
“This is a new beginning for Serie A,” the LEP said in a statement.
“The new season will be staged in Milan and, with the support of the city, the new league will become an essential part of the fabric of our city.”
